issuesI am committed to working in Annapolis and our District to improve schools, control crime, preserve and generate jobs, fight congestion, and develop solutions for affordable energy.

As a member of the Health and Government Operations Committee of the House of Delegates I also will be working of health care and long-term care issues. Below are some useful resources related to health care, prescription drugs and other issues.

Prescription Drug Affordability

Maryland Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program
May pay up to $25.00 per month for the Medicare Rx prescription drug plan premium.

Medbank of Maryland, Inc.
A non-profit organization that helps low-income Marylanders access the free prescription drug programs of the pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Transportation

Maryland Transit Administration - Senior Fare Program
Seniors 65 and older can ride bus, Metro and MARC trains for one-third to one-half of regular fares.

 

Do-Not-Call-Registry

Federal Trade Commission National Do-Not-Call Registry
Free service to prevent telemarketers from calling your home or cell telephone numbers.
